The Chamber Orchestra of the Alleghenies is an ensemble of 12-15 Western Pennsylvania string players. The group was formed in 1999, and has performed in Altoona, Johnstown, Indiana, Somerset, and Bedford. The group performs as a true chamber orchestra, without a conductor, involving all the players in the process of shaping and creating the music.
